| The first step will be to make the ends with the reinforcing strips. Cut list: all is 3/8" thick 2- 2 1/2" x 10" 2- 1 1/2" x 10" 4- 3/8 x 3/8 x 7" 4- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" 4- 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" When the parts are cut clamp them together and sand the ends square and make sure all are exactly the same length. Do the same with the small parts. |
| Mark the small end sections for nail holes, then chuck up a long brad and drill the nail holes. This will prevent the small pieces from splitting. Glue and nail the reinforcing parts to the end caps. Sand the edges smooth, the end caps are done. |
