Now it is time to install the handles and hinge protectors.
Pre drill the parts for nail holes, be sure to run 1 nail through the rope on the handle
retainers. Find the center of the box and place the handle retainers 2 1/2" from center, so
they will be 5" apart, nail and glue in place.

Come in about 5" from the ends on the back and install the hinge protectors with the
beveled sides in, nail and glue in place.
The bottom skids are made from 1 1/2" x 1/4" material, cut to length, square and chamfer
the ends. Pre drill nail holes on the ends and glue and nail in place even with the hinge
protectors.
