Effective October 20, 2026. We want everyone to be able to use ProjectGuns, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, starts with a "Skip to content" link and has visible focus indicators.
- Pages use real headings, lists and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them, and each page has one main heading.
- Images have text alternatives. Animated diagrams have a full text description, a pause button, and stop animating when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text uses sufficient color contrast, works in light and dark mode, and can be enlarged without loss of content.
- Menus work without JavaScript, and links and buttons describe where they go or what they do.
Known limitations
Some older source documents we link to, such as government PDF regulations, are published by others and may not be fully accessible. Tell us if one causes you trouble and we will try to provide the information another way.
Feedback
If you find a barrier on our site, write to contact@projectguns.com with "Accessibility" in the subject, the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix problems as quickly as we can.
How we check
We test pages with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks, and review new features for accessibility before they launch.
